Trust Me

“Police not amused after huge, rowdy teen party”, read the Australian ABC news headline. When his parents were away, a 16-year old boy from Melbourne threw a party for 500 people in the backyard. As to be expected, this party got completely out of control, causing damage and disruption to the community, and the Police had to be called. The Police Commissioner considered sending a $20,000 bill to his family for use of police resources, including a helicopter, and damage to police cars.

From The Cockroach Catcher,

“…..“No, Dr Zhang, you know I would not, trust me.”

Well, TRUST is a word I had been telling parents with teenage children to delete from their vocabulary. I will stick with WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET……”
